I've recently completed a painting (oil on canvas). This was a very fulfilling experience, and the first proper painting I've done in years. I certainly plan to do more (will aim for one per month next year).

The image is inspired by Coldplay's amazing song Viva la Vida, which formed a rather elegant backtrack to my life for a week or two at the beginning of September. I haven't thought the symbolism out in too much detail - it's much more interesting if people come to their own conclusions...
